Half mast at the Fairfield Post Office

August 30th, 2009

I had to take my daughters over to the Fairfield, WA library yesterday (8-29-09), and so while they were in there I walked a little way down the street and did this study of the Fairfield Post office, with the grain silos in the background. The flag was at half mast because of Ed Kennedy I think. An older lady was kind enough to pause in front while I was painting! Sold unframed. Bidding starts at 1 penny, HAVE FUN! :)
This measures 12″ x 12″, and is acrylic on hardboard.
Art flourishes in the midst of the paradise of Yaweh (God). In the midst of the river of the water of life, in the midst of perfect acceptance and righteousness, where there is no law any more, in this glorious land of yeshua does fine art thrive and become what it was always meant to be.
A SACRAMENT, the gift of God, the creative work of the Lord Christ Yeshua, savior of ALL MANKIND and not just of them that believe! This is the work we are called to beloved, to show forth the limitless mercies and compassions of God, apart from all systems and beliefs. Art created within this - THE NEW HEAVENS AND NEW EARTH - shines forth a light not born of man’s ways, of dead art ways… but shines forth the brilliance of the light of Yeshua’s face, who is our God, most blessed forever. And to the sharing of this grace are summoned, not in the deadness of the letter, but in the proclamation of the Spirit of His Life. Those who see these things are called to be bridge builders and peacemakers in the earth, and we lift up all men to the Lord apart from the fulfilled law.
Our journey (for the believer) is the journey out of law, pure and simple. In that the law has been fulfilled in Christ and He establishes the New Heavens and New Earth is the reality of our new nature (creation). This has all happened as we slept, we did nothing, we accomplished nothing, nor had we need to prove to the Lord any worthiness. For our worthiness is in Christ Yeshua, He is our nature, our God, our friend, our companion, our Spirit.
