I was late getting home yesterday, and the days are getting shorter. Not much light left when I drove down Hays road, but I was determined to capture something, anything before the close of day. So I stopped at the Low area and did this study looking across the fields. It was funny as I was painting I realized that hue didn’t even seem to matter, I was grabbing paint based upon value I think and it didn’t really matter what I was dipping the brush into. But always, in every situation you find yourself in, depend upon your heart to guide you, for that is the spirit of God holding your hand and teaching you. Art is the most wonderful tool in the hands of the Lord to bring us to maturity, for it really teaches you to DISCERN the spirits! You recall that verse, something like “those who are mature have exercising their SENSES learn to discern good (the spirit of life) from evil (the spirit of this world, adamic, self-sourcing knowledge). So, as you paint, you begin to find your heart pulling you towards certain touches, and this “exercize” over time begins to teach you as dear children, to discren the voice of our Father in Heaven.
I am thrilled that after so many years, the art and the Spirit of God have converged in my life. No longer do I think of my expressions as something apart from the Lord, I see now how intimately intertwined he is in our lives of creative expression. This is “the work of the Lord”, and it is glorious! Beloved, I beseech you, seek to hear the Father at every opportunity! But more than that I cannot say any more, the Father is telling me, “Son, if they have not heeded the call by now, they never will”. So I think the day of proclaiming what we should do to “prepare” is drawing quickly to a close.
He keeps telling me, the “door” is only open a very short while longer. There is still time, but that door is rapidly closing. Whatever it is in your heart to do, DO IT TODAY beloved.
It is stormy today and I am off from work for the next 4 days, so I hope to get out and do some really nice work for you! Fighting a cold too, so I will have to take it easy, but these gray days are wonderful. Fall is around the corner.
I think I am finally getting the hang of the penny painting process. And I can testify IT IS WONDERFUL, you folks who want to pursue the calling of God should do the same thing. Only in this way can you FINALLY cleanse yourself of the vile, upside-down priorties of western culture, our obession with money and power. NO MORE. God is changing the rules of the game, and there is NOTHING MAN CAN DO ABOUT IT - Yippee, Skippee! This is the wonderful truth he has deposited in my heart, that the day of judgment has already passed! He KNOWS who are his, and we are marked with his love and protection. Only the children of light hear him anyway, the children of the world hear nothing but the TV and the News. How can you hear the Lord in the midst of that racket? You cannot, God delights to have those who desire him, FIND HIM in the quiet spaces. That is the interface between heaven and earth, that is his hiding place! Your own heart!
Seek peace at all times, learn to accept others and see how the Father works his pleasure in ALL of us. No longer see anyone as evil or good, but see every one of us fulfilling the Father’s good pleasure regardless. This acceptance will heal the earth, as we begin to see that we are ALL walking out the will of God. You find a new compassion towards those who are blind and aimless, those who are mezmerized by the allures of our corrupt age (that passes away thank God). This is the way of New Earth, this is the way of Life, this is the way of peace and hope and mercy!
You must NOT condemn the government, you must PRAY and support our president and our leaders! STOP calling people names and judging one another America! Our president is doing the best that he can, give the guy a break. Granted, you might not agree with his actions, but I think he is simply trying to follow his own heart and do the right things for America.
If we can come together as a nation, drop our differneces and rally around one another, we can make it. But if we continue to bite and devour one another, we will be consumed one of another, and that will NOT be pretty.
FORGIVE ALWAYS, walk in compassion towards all men. Forget what someone does that is not agreement with your political whims. Those things are not furthering the pleasant ways of a New Earth, those ways of judgment and hate are going away. Be at peace with others, seek to find what we ALL have in common.
And the one thing that we have in common is a belief in our Creator, He has given that to all men. No matter the name you give him, it doesn’t matter, what matters is WERE YOU FAITHFUL TO YOUR HEART, that is all he cares about. For being obedient to your heart, you will further the purpose and pleasure of the Lord inevitably. If you obey your heart, you cannot help but carry out the Father’s good expressions in this glorious earth, this New Heavens and New Earth, praises be unto His care for us, amen.
