Painted this yesterday on my lunch break down at the river in Peaceful Valley. I had forgotten my tripod for the paint box, so I just found a rock to sit on and painted what I saw. The fall colors are coming out now and the trees are fun to respond to. After the painting was done I added a little guy on the river bank fly fishing perhaps. So much fun these little studies, so simple to just carve out a short spot of time in your day and capture a little fragment of life.
