A painting today on my lunch break, on the river in Peaceful valley. I thought it turned out nice! I am really trying to focus on my trees, and handle them more softly and tenderly. The slightly smaller size might be helping too. (8×10 as compared to 9×12). I enjoy this point on the river… this place is kinda like Hays road, you think you painted something already, only to be chained to it for another 1,000 paintings of the same spot. Over and over and over and over… I am starting to see a pattern.
