“Inland Empire sunset” Penny Painting #82 - 10/29/09

October 29th, 2009

10″ x 8″, acrylic on hardboard, painted on location, Spokane, WA. 10/29/09.

Bidding starts at 1 cent on Ebay, have fun!

I took a vacation day off from work today, some needed rest and a day with Joy and NO KIDS for half the day, that was fun. Anyway, had to drive back to Spokane to pick up Emily from school and stopped on Inland Empire way after seeing this little setting. Some old sheds and a trestle in the distance. Very late and gray, I was trying to snag the general sense of the scene.

Here is a snapshot I took early in the painting to give you a feel for my approach perhaps. Maybe one of these days I will try to do some videos of the process that would be fun. I have wanted to host some painting classes somehow, on location, that would be so cool. I would love to share with others my passion for art! It’s contagious, and so many people have the gift.

Peace and prosperity to you my friends, and I pray your hearts desires are fulfilled! Keep going, keep believing. All of you are so special, your lives are a treasure to the Lord, you are his artistry, his “poetic expression”.

You are the Lord’s beautiful painting.
