October 31st, 2009

12″ x 9″, acrylic on hardboard. Painted on location, Hangman creek at the Kentuck trails bridge. Halloween.

Bidding starts at 1 cent on ebay, Have fun!

I went down to the creek at Kentuck and did this view looking sort of northerly. I liked how this turned out, I set out to capture more breadth than I ususally seem to snag, and I think it worked. I hope you like it too!

It was very windy, we must have a front coming through. I am trying to take advantage of every opportunity to get out while the weather is halfway decent, winter is bearing down and I am trying not to think about painting in 20 degree weather again. :) But it’s all good, the harder the conditions sometimes the better the work.

I am so excited at my path right now, I feel in many ways I have emerged from a very dark forest that has held me captive since my childhood. I may not be completely out, but I am far enough the edge to see which direction the light is coming from, and I can terstify the light is good. Now my heart is quickly turning to you, to my fellow travelers, that I might impart some spiritual gift into you. That you might be even more established in the way of beauty and tears. I can not contain all of the blessings believe me, they must be shared with all. And once you understand that it is the Father in you that doeth the works, you are of all people most blessed, and set free. In that place is perfect peace, perfect love, and there is no fear any more. That is the most wonderful part of all, the part of the light at the edge of the forest, it has no fear, no fear.

I pray that you might sense something of the Lord’s care, or of heaven in whatever way she lives for you, my earnest desire is that you be naked and open unto Him from whom we sprang, He is our Father, he is our maker, He is our lover, he is wonderful!

All is set in place now, the parts have already been assigned, now we wait and watch as the Lord moves majestically in ways we never anticipated. He LOVES surprises! Remember folks, He is God and it thrills him to show forth His majesty to us, that we might understand his care, and his overarching love for all mankind! That is the wonderfulo message that has been hidden away for these thousands of years, that he truly loves all of us as we are, and there is no need to teach anyone of Him, for all of us now know him (or her, or whatever or however he lives for you, he choses many ways to present himself to our hearts, and we should cherish the splendor of variety of his expressions!)

Prepare, I know I keep saying that, and I feel like a broken record sometime, but that word can mean many different things. For me it means, settle your hearts in him, look into him purely and fully, whisper to him in long walks in the brown woods, where the whipporwills wink and the night clamps tightly around your soul. That is the Lord! He is in the earth beloved! He is in us! He is the paint, in the words, in the music, in the air, in the misty waters of Hangman! He lives and breathes within us, around us, there is nowhere we can hide anymore, the only place we can hide now is in his comforting caress.

I pray peace like a river upon all of you my dear friends and helpers, peace and a true prosperity that is knowledge of him. Once you are in him, and knowing what that means, then all else falls into place, all needs are met, there is no lack, there is no fear, there is no failure.

In him is life, and His life is the life of us all. And that life is love, and that love is mercy, and that mercy endures forever and ever.

Dear Father in Heaven, reveal yourself to each of us today, amidst jack o lanterns and witches and trick or treat, and candy love, reveal yourself dear Lord, and help us be the people we are suppossed to be. Help us be the loving people, the tender people you see us being. In his name, amen.
